Terms of Service

The rules for playing our games and using this website, in plain words.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Sood Games LLC ("Sood Games", "we", "us"). They cover our games Flying Man and Sood Poker, any future games we publish, and this website (together, the "Services"). By downloading, playing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

These Terms work together with our privacy policies, our purchase and subscription terms and the play chips disclaimer. The rules of the store you downloaded a game from (Apple's App Store or Google Play) also apply.

1. Who can play

  • Sood Poker is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
  • Flying Man is a general-audience game. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.
  • You may not use the Services where the law doesn't allow it.

2. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download and play our games on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. We own the games and keep all rights we don't give you here. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the games, except where the law allows it regardless of these Terms.

3. Virtual items

Our games have virtual items, such as Sood Poker play chips, VIP benefits and Flying Man's "No Ads" options. You get a limited licence to use them in the game. They are not real money or property, have no cash value, and cannot be cashed out, redeemed for money or prizes, sold, traded or moved to another account. We may change, rebalance or remove virtual items when we update a game. Purchases are final except where the store's refund policy or the law says otherwise. See Purchases & subscriptions.

4. Play fair and be kind

When you use the Services, you agree not to:

  • cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, or interfere with our servers or other players' games;
  • harass, threaten, bully or abuse other players, including in voice chat, player names or photos;
  • share hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content, or other people's photos or personal details without their permission;
  • pretend to be someone else, including Sood Games staff;
  • buy, sell or trade accounts, chips or other virtual items outside the game;
  • use the Services for real-money gambling or any bet with value outside the game.

We may mute, warn, suspend or close accounts, and remove virtual items, if we reasonably believe someone has broken these rules. You can mute, block or report other players from the table in Sood Poker.

5. What you share

Your player name, avatar, photo and voice may be seen or heard by other players at your table. You are responsible for what you share. You let us host, show and send that content to other players only as needed to run the game. We don't record voice chat.

6. Ads and other companies' services

Our games may show ads, and they rely on services from other companies, such as Apple, Google, Google AdMob, Agora (voice chat) and Cloudflare (servers). Those companies have their own terms and privacy policies. We aren't responsible for their services or for ads and websites they show. See Ads & cookies.

7. Changes to the games

We are a small studio, and we update our games often. We may add, change or remove features at any time. Online features need our servers and may sometimes be unavailable. If we ever close a game or its online features, we will try to give notice in the game or on this website. Virtual items for that game will then end.

8. Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your data as described in Delete your data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we must do so by law. Sections 3 and 9–12 stay in effect after that.

9. No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that they will be error-free, uninterrupted or right for your needs, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sood Games LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost virtual items or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

If you break these Terms or the law while using the Services and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

12. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any legal claim, please email us so we can try to solve it together; give us 30 days to respond. Any claim that isn't solved that way will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer-protection laws.

13. Extra terms for Apple devices

If you downloaded a game from the App Store: these Terms are between you and Sood Games LLC, not Apple. Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support for the game. If the game fails to meet any warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claims about the game, including product liability, legal or consumer-protection claims, or claims that the game infringes someone's intellectual property. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies where these Terms don't cover something. You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo and not on a US government list of restricted parties.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The latest version is always on this page with the date at the top. If a change is important, we will also tell you in the game or on this website. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new Terms.
